ER171
Easy Roadster© model ER171 is a wind deflector designed for Mercedes-Benz SLK Class years between 2005-2011 and fits with all trim and engines.
The illumination kit connects to the vehicle's 12 V power supply by a cigarette lighter plug provided in the kit as a default method and can be hooked straight upon the installation of the deflectors. Multiple other wiring options are also possible such as wiring to the main lights, brake lights, fog lights, etc. as some permanent solutions.
There is an extra 12V auxiliary under the center console in both SLK Models R170 and R171 where you can hook the receiver as a permanent and stealth solution. Please use the link below for the instructions of center console removal for SLK class R170 (1998-2004)
